Emmanuel graduated from Stanford in 2010 with degrees in Management Science and Engineering and accepted a job with Google in Product Quality. This past February he was promoted to Partner Operations Specialist for Google- YouTube, and considers this his biggest accomplishment so far this year. In his spare time, he likes to make videos. His favorite is the Men In Black video he created last year with his co-workers. Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQASP-VaZlo
While at Stanford, Emmanuel was the Financial Manager for the Society of Black Scientists and Engineers, Vice President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and a walk-on member of the Men’s Basketball Team as a junior. He worked at Accenture Technology Solutions as an Intern Analyst and was promoted to a Developer in June of 2009 while still completing his coursework. Accenture is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. They collaborate with clients to help them become high-performance businesses.
Emmanuel was a part of the Holthouse Boys and Girls Club for two years, and quickly became a dependable role model for the younger members by devoting his time to helping them with homework. Emmanuel graduated from Bellaire High School with honors and a 4.56 GPA.
By taking advantage of every opportunity that arises and helping others in need, I feel that I continue to embrace the mission statements of The Steve Francis Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club on a daily basis.
One of five children, Emmanuel recently visited his hometown Houston for his brother’s graduation, and attended our Evening With The STARS. We are so proud of him and know we will continue to hear new and interesting stories from Emmanuel as he follows his dreams and continues to pursue his career in technology.
