DC Warriors
The DC Warriors is an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Basketball Club from Steve’s childhood neighborhood Takoma Park coached by his lifelong mentor, Anthony Langley.
Coach Langley was one of the original founders of the club 24 years ago and has worked with Steve from a young age. Steve has been supporting the Warriors enthusiastically since 1999.
The Steve Francis Foundation has sponsored the team’s travel to basketball tournaments across the East Coast, Regionals, and to the National Finals. The Foundation has also provided basketball shoes, travel bags, and T-Shirts.
