Calvin Avant Award
Each year during the Summer Fiesta, The Steve Francis Foundation presents The Calvin Avant Award to a staff member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston.
The award recipient shares in Calvin Avant’s commitment to serving youth in the community by encouraging them to choose positive paths and working to ensure that after-school programs and athletic opportunities are available to at-risk youth.
